Breakfasts Meetings are the first Wednesday of every
month alternating between Friendly's at Exit 8 and Governor's in South
Portland. August meeting will be at Governors - AT 9AM. Call Eloise Betters
at 772-3692 or Rita O'Brien at 797-3111 for more information. Garage Sale The garage sale was postponed due to the rainy days we had. We have rescheduled it for September 7th and we need volunteers to help. Please call one of the officers to volunteer. Cabbage Island Cruise-has been canceled. Instead, we are planning a Casco Bay Island Cruise to Bailey's Island on Thursday August 8th. The boat leaves at 10am and returns around 4pm. The cost of the boat trip is $13.50, excluding lunch. Lunch is available at Cooks. We need a response by August 5th so reservations can be made. Call Eloise at 772-3692. Car pooling is encouraged and you should arrive at the boat by 9:15. Reunion The reunion was a huge success. We had over 300 attend and everyone had a great time. The next one is October 22nd, 2005 -Reserve this date! Steve Ramer from the lab has created this website and we appreciate his efforts. Golden Club Name Many of the newer members have mentioned that they would like to have the name of the Golden Club changed. We have talked about it before and maybe it is time to become serious in thinking about a new name. Many years ago the name of OHM Alumni was suggested by Dr. Tibbetts. Does anyone have suggestions? Think about it and bring suggestions to the next meeting or get in touch with your officers for suggestions. Harvest Breakfast There will be a breakfast Saturday, September 21st - 8am at Brighton on the Brighton Room formerly known as the Board Room, located on the third floor. Christmas Luncheon December 7th -Place TBA What's Happening Maine Eye and Ear Hospital recently had a reunion banquet.
